The ultrasound laboratory is a departmental resource that serves the needs of faculty and students with interests in ultrasound-assisted thrombolysis for stroke therapy, echogenic liposomes for early detection of cardiovascular diseases and ultrasound-mediated drug delivery, acoustic cavitation detection, and bioeffects of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound.
